【PTE官方问答系列】写作部分的内容是如何评分的

许多同学都对PTE写作的评分机制存在疑问，有些同学还会因为套用雅思写作的方法导致考试时写作时间不够用，其实身为Pearson Knowledge Technologies软件核心设计师的Karen Lochbaum早已在官方问答环节中对此做出了解释。

“I understand that automated scoring canassess grammar, vocabulary and spelling because Microsoft word can do this aswell. However, how can it evaluate the content of what has been written?”

Karen提到在PTE考试过程中，除了系统会运用核心知识储备和技术去分析学生的spelling以及grammar以外，对于contents主要比对先前已在系统中的essay和人工评分标准进行判分，尤其是基于内容的相似度，如果你的内容和结构经过系统比对和高分者相似，便可以得高分。

另外Karen还提到了考生应注意不要只注重语法上的结构内容，内容的丰富程度和完整的论据论点才是得分关键。

"Well we use the unique techniques andanalysis  to evaluate the content, so itgetting beyond the words you literally use and the meaning of those words, andwhen the new essays comes in, what we do is we compare the content of that newessay against the contents of all the essays that have been previously scoredby humans. And we will see that the new essay looks more like the essays thathumans gave scores of 1, or scores of 2 or 3.

So it based on looking at the SIMILARITY OFCONTENT between new essay and the others. In addition towards other featureslike you see in the programs of how it works, we also looking at the spellingand grammar. But really, we can get the content too and make sure the candidateis expressing their ideas and opinions fully, not just giving us grammaticalsenses."
