【Nicole老师原创好文】Part2如何生动描述人物类话题？

Nicole老师：今天的文章中，我将会给大家提供一些跟人物性格、技能相关的单词和词组。这样，大家在描述人物时就会更加游刃有余。

首先，要强调的是跟人物性格和技能相关的词汇多用于回答与人物相关的Part Two题目中的最后一个小问（why）。

比如：Describe a famous person you admire的最后一问why you admire this person，或者Describe a person who can do well in work的最后一问why this person can do well。

大家会发现用于回答这些题目的最佳理由就是某个人的性格或技能。而且，为了保证可以让自己的答案满足2分钟的要求，还可以把这些性格或技能与自己的实际情况联系起来。比如自己欠缺的或非常想学习的。

好了，接下来我来介绍单词和词组。

一些正面的、优秀的品质：

sb is/are good company，

sb has/have an outgoing personality and a good sense of humour，

sb have/has a vivid imagination，

sb is/are highly intelligent，

sb is/are with a razor-sharp mind（思维敏捷），

sb set(s) high standards for him/herself，

sb is/are fiercely loyal to friends，

sb always put(s) others first（优先考虑别人），

sb give(s) the impression of being supremely confident，

sb has/have a strong sense of responsibility，

sb always keep(s) his/her word（言而有信），

sb is/are good at keeping secrets，

sb never bear(s) a grudge（不记仇）。

一些负面的、不好的品质：

sb have/has a selfish streak（有点自私），

sb tend(s) to lose temper too easily，

sb is/are painfully shy，

sb have/has a tendency to make snap decisions（草率），

sb can be brutally honest（诚实的太伤人感受）。

最后，我们仍然举个例子。

Why a person can do well in work?

I think his personalities contribute a lot to his outstanding performance in work. First, he usually sets high standards for himself and make all his efforts to achieve. I still remember last year heworked on a project to design a computer system for an accounting firm. He nearly worked 10 hours every day and managed to complete the system within two months which met all the customer’s requirements.
