大象栖息地和生长历史

The animal I’d like to talk about is the Asian elephant living in Yunnan province China. They are mainly distributed in the tropic forest or villages. Asian elephant is an endangered species, although the elephant family has lived in the world for more than 4000 years.

大象外形和习性

According to an animal program, an adult Asian elephant is 3 meters tall in average. Their trunks are quite strong and flexible. They look clumsy and slow in response, but when they are running, the speed can shock you a lot.

大象与人类生活交集

Asian elephants are quite mild and friendly to people, so they are good helpers of villagers for carrying logs from the forest, harvesting corps, delivering heavy goods and even do commercial shows. So it’s a must-do do to enjoy an elephant show when traveling in Thailand or Xishuangbanna, the southernmost place in Yunnan. It’s also quite funny that many tourists like to try the elephant massage! ……..
