Dr Josephine Cheung is a cheerful, caring, and down to earth person who has been practicing in obstetrics and gynaecology since 1993.
A former graduate of the University of Queensland, she has worked in various major hospitals throughout Queensland as well as for The Flying Obstetric and Gynaecology Service in Roma. She has also participated as a clinical associate lecturer for medical students from the University of Queensland and a mentor to doctors-in-training at Mater hospitals.
Dr Cheung now enjoys looking after her private patients at the Mater Private Clinic, and has done so since 2003.
Having delivered thousands of healthy babies, she has extensive experience in the management of both low risk and high risk pregnancies. Her special interests include: general obstetrics, high risk pregnancy and general gynaecology.
Dr Cheung is always thrilled to meet new expectant mothers and is committed to providing her expertise and support throughout every stage of the pregnancy. She understands that the obstetric experience is special and unique for each pregnant woman. For this reason, she provides personalised care that respects the needs and desires of her patients while ensuring the safety of both mother and baby. Dr Cheung looks forward to helping you start your family.
Dr Cheung is also fluent in both English and Cantonese, as well as conversant in Mandarin.

Dr Vincent Loh graduated from The University of Queensland in 1995 and discovered the joy of bringing babies into this world during his post in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Gold Coast Hospital. He subsequently trained throughout South East Queensland, Rockhampton and in rural and regional Queensland with the Flying Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services.
Vincent has over ten years’ experience in obstetrics and has safely delivered over 1000 babies. Dr Loh enjoys the normality of low risk pregnancy however he also relishes the challenges of complicated and high risk pregnancy.
Dr Vincent Loh also speaks Mandarin and Cantonese.
