我這幾天，正在給澳大利亞堪培拉大學寫上學申請書。根据中國文化特點，62歲上大學屬於絕不正常。因而，我給澳方寫封信。現在我把它登在facebook 中，大家看看，我像個人嗎，像亇什么人。文章標題是: Never stop studying :

   Never stop studying
Dear College leader

Before 1949 under the guidance of President Chiang Kai Shek, China was a country of market. My father was a pharmacy boss. My family lives in an excellent urban area in Shanghai. In October 1949,Mao Zedong controlled China. The entire country implements the North Korea style planned economy and social system. March 19. 1956 I was born in Shanghai, China. I started a little thought and judgment when I was eight years old, I realized that China is not only very poor but also very tyranny. In this social atmosphere, my only sanctuary  is the Shanghai Children's library. I closed the windows and focus on reading freely. In 1965, I was  nine years old and I could see some books from the United States and Australia and England. I'm very familiar with the following names : Rockefeller. Hilton. Einstein. Hemingway Edison and Jack London...
These passionate teachers helped me to learn science and culture and to establish a traditional American Values System, I also know the world’s famous universities: Harvard University of American. Canberra national universities of Australia. Peking university of China.Fudan university of Shanghai. In 1966, I was ten years old . Maybe, Mao Zedong thought: The regime is not stable enough. So, after years of careful preparation, Mao Zedong personally launched the unprecedented “ Great Culture Revolution Of Proletariat.” One hundred novels can not contain the content of the cultural revolution. Mao Zedong said that he would oppose the USA social system and establish a bright future for China. In 1976 Mao Zedong died naturally. Politburo of the CPC Central Committee again delimited  the Cultural Revolution : it is an unprecedented national Disaster that directly killed more than one million people. From 1966  to 1976 throughout the cultural  revolution, Mao Zedong closed the universities, and stop the high schools and primary schools normal courses. I didn’t have a certification of primary school. No junior high school diploma. In 1973 I was 17 years old. After the end of so called high school, the government assigned me to  Shanghai Fifth pharmaceutical factory. This government factory runs a technical school and I studied inside the technical school . I studied Organic Chemistry for two years. That is my highest school degree. But after all, I am not the most stupid youth and I can study by myself. Sometimes, my mood is very repressed and very sad. In my boyhood, I hoped to be an outstanding international scholar after I grew up. But not a super rich businessman. However, in the era of Mao Zedong, the government severly in
terrupted university education. The government strictly forbids emigrating to western developed countries. I am very worries and very sad. Mao Zedong went to see Karl Max in 1976. But he disordered normal life of a billion people.  He ruined our life and wasted our beautiful time. Then, just in 1978, the Chinese communist Party headed by Deng Xiao Ping embarked  on the great strategy of Chinese reform and opening up! At same time, China immediately recovered university education. As a 20 years old semi -mature young man, I seriously thought about some important issues:” China is a non religious Communist country. It’s philosophy and constitution and political and culture and psychological and education are higher different with the United States, Australia, England, France and Canada… Another question… Now 1978, my parents are approaching to death. I do chemical operation in pharmaceutical company. A monthly salary is thirty RMB. It’s equal to six Australian dollars. I simply cannot pay any Chinese universities tuition.
On one day of June  1978, my mother reclined on the back of the bad and I gently beat her back against her to relieve her severe asthma.

“ mom, I don’t chase Chinese universities. One day in the future, I will apply to Australian capital university. “ I said
“ No! Impossible. Little tom!
You’re not smart. You have no money. “My mother took a deep breath, then sobbed.
“ Nothing is impossible . Just I should study English and University majors. “ I finished talking.
In the forty years from 1978 to 2018, my career suffered a devastating blow. Despite this, three important things to do to me and I made a great effort. I first learned English, and then read a large number of American University professional courses in English.
First of all, I am slowly  read: Mathematical Analysis. Analytic geometry. Differential equations. English creative writing. This is a solid foundation for any science and culture.
Then I read a lot: Theology of Australia and the United States. religion. philosophy. legal. Logic, psychology. trading. Real estate. movie script. International Market. international Finance. My favorite is applied finance..

At the same time, purely in order to survive, in the past 40 years, I served the following companies: Shanghai Wuzhou Pharmaceutical Company. Shanghai Squibb Pharmaceutical Company. Shanghai Taishan ceramics company. Shanghai JC Mandarin Hotel. Hilton Shanghai Hotel. Portman Hotel Shanghai. Shanghai Yellow Pages Company. People's Daily East China Branch Advertising Department. Chinese People's Insurance Company. Independent flowers boss. Independent free delivery boss. At the same time, I take care of my old parents until they died in 1984. I inherited their Shanghai urban house. In 2011, I received the Chinese government's pension. And become a little landlord in Shanghai
From 1986 to 2018, I am also passionately serving my ex-wife and my only son, who was born in Shanghai, China in 1987 and entered Melbourne Australia in 2008 and became an Australian citizen and outstanding young entrepreneur in 2017.
40 years ago, I tell my mother I hope to relocate Australia and after 40 years, my son send me to the Melbourne, Australia.
In 2014 June, my only son become my Australia immigration guarantor. In 2016 September, the Australian government has required me, delivery all immigration file. Originally I would like to immigration and then apply University. Now my son said, I immigrants success need another few months. Thus now, I direct wrote University to apply for language classes of the University. Oh oh stop.
