Nothing — and that’s what made it so desirable.
Real estate agents say that standard family homes in Calamvale and surrounds are so few and far between on the market, buyers are jumping every time one appears.
Pam Anderson’s home at Clembury Pl, Calamvale, went on the market at 2.30pm on Wednesday, February 5, at $499,000 and within hours had three offers.
Advised by estate agent Igor Sesar to hold off until the first open house, 21 parties visited on the following Saturday with seven submitting offers, sparking a bidding war.
“I don’t have many properties like this and I have six other buyers who basically want the exact same property,” Mr Sesar said.
Ms Anderson said prior to putting her home of 14 years on the market she had tidied up the property with some small maintenance jobs but had not gone out of her way to revamp the property.
